Crop pollination webinar series offers advice from entomologists

Experts in crop pollination working under the Integrated Crop Pollination Project will present a series of webinars on “Ensuring Crop Pollination in US Specialty Crops.” The webinar series will examine the role of wild bees, honey bees and other managed bees in supporting crop pollination and yield in almond, blueberry, tree fruit, pumpkin and watermelon.

Michigan State University entomologists Rufus Isaacs and Julianna Wilson will offer their expertise, with Isaacs hosting the Jan. 31 webinar on pollinating highbush blueberries, and Wilson hosting the Feb. 14 webinar on pollinating apples and cherries. The full list of webinars is as follows:
