  • E-2604 "Enomophaga maimaiga - A Natural Enemy of Gypsy Moth" A fact sheet on the origin and history of this fungal pathogen. This bulletin also displays color photos of gypsy moth caterpillars killed by this biocontrol agent, as well as contrasting photos of a gypsy moth caterpillar killed by the NPV virus. 50 cents.

  •  "A Balanced Perspective" 1992, United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service, 18 minutes. Focuses on living with the gypsy moth infestations and nature's methods of reducing gypsy moth populations.

Available from USDA Forest Service, Northern Region Public Affairs Of fice, PO Box 7669, Missoula, Mt 59807. Good historical review of introduction in Eastern United States and travel westward.

  • "The Attack of the Amazing Gypsy Moth" Michigan Gypsy Moth Education Program (See address above). Vivid color, shows fife cycle in detail, gives control tips. 17" X 22" Free.

 Pocket Cards

  • "Don't Give the Gypsy Moth a Free Ride" These wallet sized cards display photos of the gypsy moth egg mass, larva pupa and adult They also urge motorists to inspect their recreational vehicles and equipment for egg masses.
