Bug House logo
The Bug House is an exploration of the fascinating world of insects. A huge exhibit of pinned specimens is just a prelude to the excellent collection of live insects, including Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, Red-Kneed Tarantulas and other interesting creepy crawlies. The Bug House offers tours on an appointment basis, Monday through Friday. If you or your group is interested in a tour, call Barb Stinnett at (517) 355-4662 or e-mail her at stinnett@msu.edu. While you're here, stop by the Insect Emporium to see a wide variety of insect and nature-related gifts and other items.

Insect World Science Camp Insect World Science Camp is a four day camp for kids 9-12 years of age that focuses on exploring and studying insects in their natural environment. Kids stay on campus in dorms and are taught by science majors who are excited about sharing their experiences. A copy of the brochure and an application is available here (.pdf). If you prefer to have an application in Word, please go here.
