Our department has a long history of excellence in research, extension and graduate education. We continue to focus on these areas for the issues that confront us today and for the future.

The Department of Entomology is based in two colleges: the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) and the College of Natural Sciences with CANR being its lead college. This multi-college arrangement enables students to integrate the agriculture/natural resources and biological/physical sciences in an optimally beneficial way. We offer B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees and consider graduate student education and postdoctoral experience to be one of our highest priorities.
